"I had always aspired to be an engineer, but it was entirely a coincidence that I was enrolled in 'Youth4Youth Robotics Workshop' at my school. During the programme, I was able to send code to a micro:bit to make it do a variety of tasks like become a step counter. For me, as an 11 year old, being able to write the code for a task and then actually seeing it carried out was magical! It was this experience that made me realise what I really wanted to do in life. Next year, I have decided to study Computer Science for my GCSEs and am looking to study robotics engineering in university. My experience with Youth4Youth was not only an educational one, but one that helped shape my career in the future."
